Can anyone explain the meaning of the song 'Sober' by Kelly Clarkson?

Seems to me she's talking about a broken relationship that she's getting over. Three months previously she was intoxicated by love. Being sober means she faces the reality of her changed situation and picking out the weeds is eliminating the bad things she remembers and keeping the good (the flowers).
