(Crock-pot) Can I just fill it with veg., meat, and water. Cook it on high for 3 hrs. and have soup?
You fill it with water and let it come to the boil, while your waiting chop your vegies and prepare your meat when it boils add your ingredients and bring it to the boil again. when it boils put it on low and keep the lid on. stir occasionally just to make sure its not sticking and to keep everything mixed. It doesnt matter how long you cook it, at least an hour is usually the best idea, by that time any of your eat should be cooked. however this hour is measured from when you turn the heat down. te longer you cook it obviously the thicker it will get and the meat will be softer and yummier as all the flavours will have been stewing for a long time. remember not to fill the pot with too much water as when you put your ingredients in the water will rise.
