Help! Too much saliva during !?

I have been married to my husband for 1 year now. We are both 22. He is the only man I've ever been with, so I've not had much experience with things of a ual nature, but I did want to try spicing up our love life by trying to give him, well, , but I produce too much saliva...WAY too much when I try to perform oral. I've heard lots of saliva is a good thing, but I produce so much, I practically feel that I'm choking on it and by the time the "activity" is over, there is spit everywhere and it's not normal from what I've heard from my girlfriends and my husband, though he doesn't try to complain or make me feel badly, but it doesn't feel right to me either, I know I'm doing it wrong. It's just that, a few seconds after I start, all this saliva starts rushing out, It's like foaming at the mouth lol..but literally, and it's so unpleasant and I know without that much of it, I'd be able to be better at making this feel good for him. This saliva issue actually deters me from wanting to do this for my husband because it's so embarring and uncomfortable for me, and I seem to not have any control over it, it just happens. I have been able to get the job done and make him climax, but all the saliva tends to be destracting and delays him. Can anyone tell me how I can better control my saliva and make this stop happening and possibly give me any tips? Any ladies (or guys) ever experience this?
