How do you succeed in losing weight and getting in shape when you have a spouse who actively works against you?

My husband won't drink milk unless it's 4%. He won't drink diet soda. He won't eat most green vegetables and won't let me put green beans in stew or soups.... He won't take a walk with me after dinner and doesn't encourage me in any way. He feels as though it's obvious that he supports me so he shouldn't have to say it. I feel like a recovering addict who has to go back and live in a crack house. I've tried talking to him and begging him and yelling at him and crying....nothing works. While I often just get angry enough to exercise to "show him" and everyone that I won't be stopped, food can be an issue and I get discouraged. Any suggestions?
