Is this bad for pregnancy?

OK on 05/29 I did a pregnancy test for a procedure (Ct Scan) I had to do with Iodine my test was negative. Well turns out I was pregnant because now I am 7 wks along. I did that test on 06/02 now IOm really worried because I don't know if Iodine is bad for baby, my doctor saids it should be OK but what does..Should be ok mean? Does anyone know if this can have a devastating effect later throughout my pregnancy, has anyone done this procedure while pregnant?
